Butterfat is located at 404 East Ohio Street in Pittsburgh’s Northside, right in the middle of one of our favorite neighborhood corridors.

Stop in for handmade gelato, dairy-free sorbetto, pints, and whatever seasonal flavors we’re currently obsessing over.

Parking

Street parking is available nearby, and there is also parking in the lot on Foreland Street. Parking is free on Sundays.

Please be mindful of our neighbors and nearby businesses when parking.

What to expect

Our flavors rotate often, and everything is made in small batches. That means the case may look a little different each time you visit.

You’ll usually find a mix of classic gelato, seasonal flavors, dairy-free sorbetto, and a few Butterfat things we couldn’t stop thinking about.

Bringing Butterfat to an event?

We also cater weddings, birthdays, showers, corporate events, festivals, and private parties with our gelato cart, staffed station, and self-serve options.
